What to Expect

Everyone is welcome at our services. You do not have to be a Christian or even know anything about church, and you won’t be forced to do anything you don’t want to do.

At a typical service, you can expect to come in and be welcomed by friendly faces offering you a great cup of coffee, hot tea, or water. If you have children, you can check out our exceptional Kids Ministry. We value children and provide a safe environment where they can learn about Jesus in a way that applies to their life.

A typical 80 minute service will include:

  • Three worship songs, sometimes including Communion

  • Brief announcements about upcoming events

  • Opportunity to give (i.e. tithes and offerings)

  • A practical and relevant sermon lasting 30 - 45 minutes

  • One closing worship song with an opportunity to receive prayer

If you are not able to to join us in person, please watch our online service on Sunday mornings at 9am & 11am on YouTube

Whether it's in person or online, we'd love to have you join us!

Worship Experience

Worship is essential to our relationship with God. Toward that end, we create multiple spaces for encountering Him during our Sunday services, special worship nights and weekly small groups. At South Suburban Vineyard Church, the diversity of the Kingdom of God is represented through people from all walks of life. We seek to reflect the Kingdom and the heart of God through diversity in music.

Kids Ministry
BIRTH - 5TH GRADE

Why church for kids? We believe children should be able to experience the same power of the Holy Spirit, demonstrate His love, and live it out - just like adults! At South Suburban Vineyard Church, kids aren’t just being babysat. They are learning the truths of the Bible in a safe and loving environment. They are given the opportunity to practice what is taught and become ambassadors for Christ. Children are valued by God and it is our responsibility to show them His desire to enter into a personal relationship with them.

Student Ministry
6TH - 12TH GRADE

Our middle school and high school student ministry (6th - 12th grade) is designed to help students grow in their character and strengths. Most importantly, we are intentional about helping them discover their identity in Christ, all while they form relationships with others and HAVE FUN!

High School students meet on the 1st & 3rd Sundays during both services. Middle School students meet on the 2nd & 4th Sundays during both services.

On the off weeks when those designated groups of students don't meet, we invite them to serve on a Ministry Team.

Finally, on the rare 5th Sunday of the month, students are asked to enjoy the Sunday worship service with their families.

If you have questions or you'd like to know how to schedule your teen to serve on those "off" Sundays, please click the button below. We hope to see you soon!
